• Your class was life changing.  I want you to know that the information really did sink in!  I have noticed a real shift in the way my husband and I relate to our girls.  Having been to your workshop together really helps us see situations, relationships and parenting through a similar lens.  This is immensely helpful and creates a lot of harmony and connectedness in our family.
  One of the most important things we learned is to support the needs of each other as parents, not just the kids!  Now we can more easily recognize when the other parent is growing “flooded” in the moment, and this helps us help each other, so we can both be our best for our kids!
  I can’t say that we always follow the NVC model – we are not perfect! – but I can say that this model has given us a new foundation and now we view relationship within this framework.  It’s such an incredible path to peace and kindness!

• Sarah’s calm presence is, in and of itself, worth the cost of taking this class! I felt like I absorbed her methods by osmosis and will try to think “what would Sarah do?” when I feel challenged in a tough parenting situation. I am grateful for all the knowledge and experience she shared and feel so happy to be among like-minded people who want to learn to parent with empathy and mindfulness. The techniques you learn in class not only work for your children, but for all relationships you have. The class gave me newfound hope. The 6 weeks flew by. • I was very excited to sign up for the class, hearing positive comments. I also heard Sarah was a great instructor. Both were absolutely correct. The tools learned from the class were not only very eye opening, but can be applied to any relationship, especially with your spouse/significant other. I was brought up in a house that was 180 degrees from these teachings. I learned a lot about myself and am now committed to make significant improvements in my relationship with my son.
